The Monument Restoration

London’s iconic Monument reopened on 16 February 2009 following completion of an 18 month, £4.5m restoration project. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the 61m Monument was built in 1677 to commemorate the Great Fire of London.

MMA’s Webnet stainless steel mesh has been installed to enclose the viewing platform, making it a safe environment for visitors to enjoy panoramic views across London.
